Pinterest is following up on the initial launch of it’s new ‘Shuffles’ visual collage app, which was launched to only a select number of users back in August of this year, by releasing the app so it is generally available.
Pinterest is likely reacting to the dip in popularity of their app and the sink of Shuffles, according to app intelligence firm Sensor Tower. Shuffles was downloaded around 20,000 times last month which is a big drop from the 211,000 iOS installs that it saw during the first month of the app’s availability on the app store.
Shuffles’ adoption could be suffering because the app remained invite-only, but now it will be seen if it can turn the tide and become more viable.
