Kick streamer Johnny Somali has been known as one of the more infamous IRL streams and creators on the video game streaming platform which includes content where he harasses locals in Japan which, sometimes, lead to them attacking him.
Somali was even smacked with a 72-hour ban on the Kick platform following several instances of racist behavior in Tokyo, but that has not stopped his problematic behavior. Somali is permanently banned on Twitch.
Twitch streamer Meowko was one of the unfortunate people to be on the receiving end of Somali’s antics, and during a live stream on Twitch she ran into him which quickly turned to an uncomfortable situation.
“I’m on Kick. We don’t like Twitch streamers,” he said to Meowko (h/t Dexerto). “Bye-bye. Get banned b*tch. Get banned! You better not show me on your stream, you’ll get banned.”
The incident, which has been covered by video game journalists and content creator journalists alike, resulted in Meowko crying after getting dropped off.
“I was able to avoid the ban because I responded quickly with the Twitch staff,” she said, “I cried because the taxi driver on the way home was such a nice guy. I hope this person leaves Japan soon. I felt helpless because I couldn’t do anything even though I was right in front of my eyes.”
“Seriously tho I have no idea how those kind of creator is still having place to say something on internet like this,” she added.
