Perhaps the biggest news to come out of 2024 thus far within the world of streaming has been the departure of Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys from the Amazon video game streaming platform Twitch, where she had been a cornerstone creator of for a decade.
While she has not officially signed an exclusive deal with any platform since departing Twitch, she has moved to YouTube and Spotify which has been the home for her new podcast ‘Don’t Tell Anyone’ which, to nobody’s surprise, has generated a massive following since debuting this year.
Pokimane generated headlines again during her latest podcast episode where she claims that since her contract with Twitch has officially expired she is set to air out her grievances with the platform and company, including a “crazy” story involving one of their employees.
“There was something absolutely batshit crazy that happened with a Twitch employee that I haven’t fully publicized yet” she said during the show. “But, now that my contract is over, I am considering doing that in another, soon, podcast episode.”

Some on streamer social media have speculated if this potential “bombshell” would add to the perceived slow demise of Twitch.
