X had tested out a new form of creator monetization with YouTube superstar creator MrBeast and due to that success (MrBeast made around $250,00o in his first video upload to the X app) and has now announced its new “Creator Targeting” ad option, according to an official post on their corporate blog.
Per the announcement, “Soon, advertisers on X will be able to run ads against a curated list of premium content creators via Creator Targeting. This means giving advertisers more control to be able to use the self-serve X Ads Manager to run ads against the content of their chosen creator(s).

Creator Targeting works on top of X’s primary brand safety solutions, Adjacency Controls and Sensitivity Settings.
Soon we’ll add the ability to serve ads only on an individual creator’s profile – completely eliminating the unlikely event of unwanted adjacencies while aligning your brand to creators you love most.”
Creator Targeting is an extension of X’s efforts in video offerings and content creation, but the question remains if they can win over enough creators and influencers
