The 2024 Streamer Awards were as smash hit, and there is no denying the annual awards monumental and consistent success year-to-year as they continue to top viewership records on platforms like Twitch and grow in popularity as well.
The event, which is funded and hosted by QTCinderella has cemented itself as a staple in the streaming and content creation community and 2025 is aiming to be an even bigger year for the celebrated event.
Despite the success, QTCinderella has revealed her “biggest regret” of the 2024 edition of the awards ceremony.
While the event was generally well received by audiences, a few criticisms have surfaced, specifically during the presentation of the Legacy Streamer Award which was given to longtime streamer Maximilian Dood.
The segment included a special video with highlights from Maximilian’s streaming career, which was created by QTCinderella’s editor, but it was plagued with audio issued that made many feel as though the special moment was ruined and was a disservice to Maximilian.
“The audio not working during Maximilian’s Legacy Award was crushing,” QTCinderella said during a stream. “My editor, Warden, worked so hard on that video.”
“People keep asking me what happened. I don’t know, and I will say, Max is the most amazing person ever that could have received it. He was so humble, he was not mad.”
For what it’s worth, Maximilian didn’t seem too bothered by the issues, saying in her chat that “Tech issues are my middle name. “Seriously, no worries at all.”
