Popular Twitch streamer Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, who is also the CEO of 100 Thieves, isn’t a fan of a number of Kick streamers on the video game streaming platform and called them out for what he sees as juvenile behavior.
While Kick has provided a viable alternative to Twitch on many levels, it still has a somewhat muddied image due to the conduct, content and creators they have associated and featured on their platform.
Nadeshot slammed Kick streamers during a recent stream (back on March 10th) saying that they are ruining the specific “pocket of the internet.”
“I don’t understand why people watch other people f***ing with other people in public” he said (h/t Dexerto). “A lot of people think it’s hilarious. With some of this livestream stuff, I truly feel like a purist. Look at you dumb f***ing Gen Z b*tches, you guys are ruining this whole thing… We had a little pocket of the internet that was kind of our own and now you guys are out here just doing the dumbest sh*t imaginable,” he said on March 10.
Nadeshot also commented on the recent controversy regarding Kick streamer ‘sweatergxd’, who was banned from Kick for holding a gun to a woman’s head during a live stream, and he didn’t hold back.
“Brother you need to be locked up, for life, because I promise you ain’t going to be doing nothing good for society in the years to come,” Nadeshot said of the streamer.
