Midnight Society, the gaming company co-founded by streaming superstar Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has announced that they have officially terminated their relationship with the streamer following allegations coming to light over the weekend.
Dr Disrespect’s ban from Twitch a few years ago (2020) had become one of the biggest mysteries in the streaming space, but over the weekend an ex-Twitch employee claimed that it was somehow related to allegations around inappropriate DMs with a minor, according to Dexerto.
Midnight Society released the following statement via social media today:
On Friday evening we became aware of an allegation against one of our co-founder’s Guy Beahm aka Dr Disrespect.
We assumed his innocence and began speaking with parties involved. And in order to maintain our principles and standards as a studio and individuals, we needed to act.…
