A TikTok video has gone viral showing a Virgin Australia passenger getting into a confrontation with the plane’s pilot, even grabbing the pilot’s shirt and cussing at him before he was eventually kicked off the flight.
During the video (which you can see here), you can hear the pilot warn the unruly passenger to “walk” or he would “get someone” before the situation eventually escalated to the point where the pilot told the man – “you’re off, mate.”
The passenger then got physical, grabbing the pilot’s shirt before an airline hostess and a member of the public stepped in to help the pilot push him towards the doors, which prompted more rage and vulgarity from the man.
The pilot then called for someone to “get the cops”.
Virgin Australia said the passenger was removed from the flight for unruly and disruptive behavior. Police were called to the scene and airport and travel restrictions were imposed on the unruly passenger.
“The safety of guests and crew is our number one priority and we have zero tolerance for any type of unruly behavior on Virgin Australia flights,” a company spokeswoman said in an official statement, according to Yahoo News.
