Twitch streamer Mitch Jones is claiming that he was “physically assaulted” by fellow Twitch streamer Mizkif, in an incident which Jones claims resulted in major injuries as he shared a video with fans this week.
Jones says the two popular Twitch streamers, who have a combined following exceeding 2.5 million on the video game streaming platform, were involved in a physical altercation with one another back on February 6th, 2023. Jones made the claims back in September 2023.
Jones posted the following video, outlining the injuries, on YouTube on Tuesday.
Jones claimed that he was at Mizkif’s home when an argument between two broke out. Jones then claims that he asked Mizkif to drive him home, and the heated argument allegedly continued when the two were in Mizkif’s vehicle.
The argument allegedly caused Mizkif to bring the car to a sudden stope, which was apparently captured on a neighbor’s security camera. That footage shows Mizkif berating Jones as Jones sits on the ground.
“Do you want to do it again?” Mizkif yells at Jones (h/t Dexerto). “You said you could take me seven times. Do you even listen to yourself? You’re drunk and on cocaine. I tried to talk to you as a friend. You’re treating me like shit. You make me want to kill myself. And all you can say is, ‘F%ck you.’”
While no footage has been publicly released documenting the physical altercation, Jones claims that Mizkif knocked him out cold and strangled him, stating that he was “so majorly concussed that I still have symptoms to this day.”
Additionally, Jones claims that he “sprained two ligaments in his cervical spine” and still suffers from “lasting issues” due to the situation months following the altercation.
Jones initially told viewers his injuries were due to a “car wreck” but now says that he said that to cover up the situation out of respect for the people that are in Mizkif’s circle. Now, Jones says Mizkif was “lying to people behind the scenes” and is exposing him.
Another popular streamer, Alinity, shared her thoughts, including her own experience with Jones, during a recent stream: “It is so scary being in this industry and dealing with people like this,” Alinity said. “I’m gonna be honest, it actually scares me.”
Jones was also called out by another streamer, Knut, who called labeled Jones’ claims as a “scam.”
Fans seem to be taking Mizkif’s side in the drama, especially since there is no actual public footage, as of this writing, to support his claims of a physical altercation.
