Kick streamer NICKMERCS finally made his return to Call of Duty: Warzone for the first time since he sparked controversy last year over his comments on social media regarding his beliefs about Pride Month being recognized in a school.
This caused backlash on social media were people claimed that the popular streamer was “anti-LGBTQ” and arguing that his comments was just parroting dangerous rhetoric that, while others saw his comments in a different light.
Nickmercs would issue a response to the backlash, and amid the drama Call of Duty removed his operator skin from the shop which prompted Nickmercs to quit Warzone as a result.
Now, he has finally returned several months later.
On Tuesday, NICKMERCS posted on X/Twitter that he would be returning today (Wednesday) to play the popular game, which you can see here.
