A brand new TikTok video has gone viral and the subject is perhaps one of the most awkward marriage proposals you can find on social media these days, as another video has made headlines out of New Years’ festivities.
TikToker Cass (caesthetically) recorded the moment that an unsuspecting woman received a marriage proposal from her partner, but to say that the woman didn’t look very happy about it would be an understatement.
“Omg they stopped the entire NYE party for this guy to propose and the girl was NOT HAVING IT,” Cass wrote on the post overlay. “That was the most awkward thing I’ve ever witnessed,” she wrote in the caption.
After the woman hesitantly walked over to her boyfriend, he said -” I want to say, I’m crazy in love with you” before continuing – You’re the love of my life, and you make me the happiest man in the world”, “Will you marry me?”
After some awkward silence the man said “It’s a simple yes or no.”
As bad as the video looks and the expression that the woman had on her face throughout the entire experience, the woman said “Yes”.
The caption of the video simply said “I fully thought she was gonna say no”.
